Please ensure that you have read and understood this document before continuing to point of purchase.
By purchasing any driving tuition package, practical or theory driving test booking service, or become an instructor training via bookdrivinglesson.com, you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions and enter into a legally binding contract with Bosh School of Motoring Ltd.
- Key Definitions
- “We/Us/Our”:com (Bosh School of Motoring Ltd).
- “You/Your”: The learner driver (pupil) or the person purchasing the service or booking driving lesson
- “Lesson or Course”: All types of driving lessons, intensive driving lessons, refreshment driving lessons, pass plus scheme, become an instructor course etc.
- “Test”: Practical or Theory Driving Test
- “Instructor”: An independent, DVSA-certified approved driving instructor allocated to you.
- “Working days” refers to days other than a Saturday, Sunday, or public holidays;
- “Initial Payment”: The standard £100 Initial Payment to book your Course. There may be times when this varies and your Initial Payment may be higher or lower than this.
- “Details Form”: The mandatory online information form required to begin the service.
- “DVSA” refers to the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency;
- Eligibility & Booking Process
2.1 Eligibility:
2.1.1 Age: You must be at least 17 years old. If you are not yet 17, you must become eligible before start for lessons. We can only assign an instructor for the person whose age is eligible.
2.1.2 Licence: You must hold a valid UK provisional driving licence. We can only assign an instructor for the person who is a valid provisional driving licence holder.
2.1.3 Eyesight: You must meet the minimum eyesight requirement, wearing glasses or contacts if needed.
2.1.4 Ineligibility: If you don’t meet age, licence or eyesight we can not assign an instructor for you. Please check Section 6.Refunds if you’re not eligible.
2.2 Booking Process:
2.2.1 Covered Areas: Courses are available in all areas of England, Scotland and Wales. Pricing for specific locations at a given time, is available by entering your postcode into price finder on our website.
2.2.2 Details Form: You must fill out the Details Form immediately after making an initial or full payment. We cannot start the search for an instructor until this form is submitted.
2.2.3 Payment Terms:
- Initial Payment: You must pay £100 initial payment before we start looking for an instructor
- Balance: Full payment must be made within 7 days of the initial payment or before we assign an instructor for you.
- Non-Payment: If the balance is not paid within 7 days, we reserve the right to place your course on hold. (Please see section 6.Refunds)
- Payment Methods: We accept Klarna, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and major credit/debit cards. You must follow the specific user agreements for these third-party providers.
2.2.4 Instructor Search Guarantee: We guarantee to find an approved driving instructor within 45 working days. If we fail to do so, we will refund the full amount paid if you demand it.
- Preferences: At the point of booking your course, bookdrivinglesson.com may enquire as to your preferences regarding any demands of instructor (multilingual, gender etc), available days and time period, car make and model for safety reasons, or any other demand. (Some specific preferences may affect to find an instructor within 45 working days)
2.2.5 Practical or Theory Test Guarantee: If you pay for our practical or theory driving test finding service, we aim to find a test within 6 months This may vary depending on level whether or not you are a test standard pupil. You must be available Monday to Saturday, 7am to 5pm for test booking.
2.2.6 Advance Booking: When making an advance booking, usually because you are not yet 17 and/or you do not have a valid provisional licence you agree that we reserve the right to review the price of the course on the date we are able to progress with the booking. This would typically be the date you turn 17, or the date you are able to provide us with valid provisional licence details.
- Relationship with Instructors
3.1 Independent Contract: When you book through us, you are entering into a separate agreement for lessons solely between yourself and the instructor. Instructors are self-employed, independent contractors and are not employees of bookdrivinglesson.com. Bookdrivinglesson.com will not be a party to this agreement, nor shall bookdrivinglesson.com be liable for any claims arising regarding your instructor, except where we are at fault.
- Instructor Terms: You must confirm specific terms and conditions (if assigned instructor has) lesson details (timing, exact pickup locations, vehicle type, lesson procedure etc) directly with your assigned Instructor.
- Complaints: Raise and resolve any issues or concerns relating to the behaviour or performance of your instructor with them directly in the first instance. If you cannot resolve the issues, you can notify us.
3.2 Direct Payments: You must never pay an instructor directly for lessons included in your package. If an instructor requests direct payment, you must notify us immediately. (Please see Section 13.Contact Us)
- Cancellations, Rescheduling & Changes
4.1. Cancellations & Rescheduling: You must notify us for lesson or test cancellation or rescheduling requests. (Please see Section 9. BookProtect andSection 13.Contact Us)
- Driving Lessons (48 Hours Rule): You must provide at least 48 hours notice directly to us and your assigned Instructor to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Failure to do so will result in the loss of that lesson’s fee.
- Practical or Theory Tests (15 Working Days Rule): You must provide at least 15 working days notice to us to cancel or reschedule a practical or theory driving test. Failure to do so will result in the forfeit of the test fee.
4.2 Administrative Changes: You must notify us for lesson or test cancellation or rescheduling requests. (Please see Section 13.Contact Us)
- Area: If you change your location (area) you must notify us immediately. You can continue with same instructor if the location also covered by the same instructor. Otherwise, we will find other instructor who covers your area and £75 administrative fee will be applied.
- Vehicle transmission: We will find and suitable instructor if you would like to change transmission type. £75 administrative fee will be applied. You must also pay if there is fee differences for Transmission type.
- Lessons:
5.1 Any arrangements for the lessons, including the start time and start location, shall be agreed between you and the instructor directly.
5.2 You must bring your valid UK provisional driving licence and present it to the instructor at the start of your first lesson. You must bring your licence with you to all of your lessons and Tests. Failure to do so may result in the lesson and/or test being cancelled without a refund.
5.3 It is your responsibility to be on time for your lessons. As the instructor may have other lessons to deliver, the lessons will not be extended to compensate for you arriving late.
5.4 The instructor may refuse to proceed with a lesson if you use abusive language or threatening behaviour, or if you fail to act on any reasonable request made by the instructor. (Please see Section 6. Refunds)
5.5 You must come prepared to the lesson including with appropriate footwear to undertake the lesson. The instructor may also refuse to proceed if they believe you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs during the lesson. We accept no responsibility due to the lesson being cancelled or unable to be fulfilled due to your failure to comply with (Please see Section 6. Refunds)
5.6 Any concerns relating to your instructor’s behaviour or performance should be communicated directly to your instructor in the first instance. You should log any issues with your instructor. Contact our customer Support team to discuss, within 24 hours of the scheduled Lesson. All issues referred to us will be treated in confidence and whilst we shall endeavour to retain confidentiality where reasonably possible, there may be circumstances, deemed by us, in which we will communicate with to your Instructor and/or contact the DVSA in line with their code of conduct. We may use the information provided by you in determining whether that instructor should be connected to any future our customer.
5.7 You must contact us to indicate if a lesson did not take place within 24 hours of the scheduled Lesson time. This will enable us to efficiently, where possible, facilitate any disputes on your behalf. You must also endeavour to communicate to us any issues associated with your lessons within 24 hours of the lesson to enable us to resolve any issues associated with your course in a timely manner.
- Refunds
6.1 Ineligibility: If you request a refund because you are not eligible, £50 administrative fee will be deducted from your refund.
6.2 Non-Payment (The 14 Days Rule): If you don’t pay within 14 days of booking, initial payment becomes non-refundable.
6.2 Cancellation of Service (The 14 Days Rule): If you cancel within 14 days of booking, we will charge a £50 administrative fee and will be deducted from your refund. After 14 days, the Initial Payment becomes non-refundable.
6.3 Booking Test or Assigned Instructor: Once test is booked and an instructor has been assigned to your course, the fees are non-refundable.
6.4 Attend to Lesson or Tests:
- Lessons: If you do not attend a lesson, the instructor will be entitled to keep the full tuition fee of the missed lesson and the lesson time will be deducted from your course hours (unless otherwise agreed with your instructor). No refunds will be due from us in such circumstances for any reason.
- Tests: If you do not attend a test you must pay again for the test booking.
- Being Late for Lesson: If you are late for the lesson, you cannot request to extend the lesson time (unless otherwise agreed with your instructor). Lesson fee is not refundable if you are late to the lesson.
- Eligibility: You must bring your valid UK provisional driving licence and present it to the instructor at the start of your first lesson. You must bring your licence with you to all of your lessons and Tests. Failure to do so may result in the lesson and/or test being cancelled without a refund.
- Temporary Ineligibility: You must wear appropriate footwear to undertake the lesson. The instructor may also refuse to proceed if they believe you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs during the lesson. In this case, lesson fee will be fully non-refundable.
- Misbehaviour: The instructor may refuse to proceed with a lesson if you use abusive language or threatening behaviour, or if you fail to act on any reasonable request made by the instructor. In this case, lesson fee will be fully non-refundable.
6.5 Notice Period: If you don’t notify us on time for cancellation, rescheduling or changes fees will be non-refundable. (Please see Section 4. Cancellations, Rescheduling and Changes)
6.6 On Hold: If you don’t contact with us during your course is on hold for over 180 days, your contract will end with us, all fees will be non-refundable and the Money-Back Guarantee will no longer apply unless agreed otherwise.
6.7 Time Out: You have 3 months after booking the course to start your lessons, unless agreed otherwise between you and bookdrivinglesson.com. If an agreement is not made and your lessons have not started within this six-month period, your Initial Payment (Plese see Section 2.2.3 Payment Terms ) and proportionate fees incurred by us will be non-refundable (excluding any unused lesson hours), unless we have booked your tests and allocated an instructor to you in which case you will not receive a refund of any fees paid to us by you under this contract.
6.8 Pass The Test: Upon successful completion of your tests, any unused hours from your course package shall be non-refundable. We recommend you complete your course before go for the test.
- On Hold & Expired Bookings:
7.1 We reserve the right to place your course on hold.
7.2 If your course is placed “On Hold” in accordance with this section, we will cease all work relating to your course until any necessary steps by you, including payment in full of any outstanding amounts, have been undertaken.
7.3 If your course is on hold, it may cause delay, administrative fee charges, contract termination on your course.
7.4 We may put your course on hold for the followings;
- Response: We have attempted to contact you for any reason, and it has been 7 days without response.
- Confirmation or Reject: If you don’t confirm or reject assigned instructor, test booking appointment, lesson request within 7 days. This may also cause to miss a chance of practical or theory driving test booking.
- Non-Payment: If you have failed to pay your any amounts due and payable to us within 7 days of a formal request to do so. (Please see Section 6. Refunds)
- Your Request: If you instruct us to place your course on hold without any reason, we can put your course on hold up to 90 days. You will not pay administrative fee to re-activation. £50 administrative fee will be applied for re-hold. (Please see Section 9. BookProtect)
- Medical Hold: We can put your course on hold for up to 12 months if you provide evidence of a medical condition that prevents you from driving.
- Failure to Notify: If you don’t contact with us during your course is on hold for over 180 days, you cannot re-activate it.
- Lesson Fees Differences: In the event that your Course is reactivated, We reserve the right to increase the Fees in line with course prices as advertised at the time of reactivation.
- Money Back Guarantee: If your course is placed on hold for any reason, the Money-Back Guarantee will no longer apply unless agreed otherwise.
7.6 Expired Courses: When a Course is expired, it may be re-opened if you have paid 50% or more of the balance. A £100 administrative fee is chargeable to re-open the course and in circumstances where the balance has not yet been paid in full, the remaining balance is payable within 14 days of re-opening the course. If the re-opened expires again (by going on hold for 90 days or more) the course will not be re-opened. Only Courses that have expired within the last 12 months may be re-opened.
- Test Bookings & DVSA
8.1 Test Booking: We guarantee to book practical or theory driving test within 6 months.
8.2 DVSA Changes: We have no control over, and accept no liability for, changes made by the DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency) regarding test dates, times, or test centres. We must follow all DVSA regulations.
8.3 Notify Us: You must notify us and your instructor when DVSA make a change on your practical or theory driving test. We accept no responsibility for any changes made by DVSA. We recommend you contact to DVSA directly and update us.
- BookProtect:
9.1 BookProtect provides you advantages for cancellation, rescheduling, on hold, refunds and administrative fees.
9.2 BookProtect is a service, not an insurance.
9.3 BookProtect provides following advantages:
- Short Notice Period: You must provide at least 24 hours notice instead 48 hours for cancellation or rescheduling. (Please see Section 4. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Changes)
- On Hold: You can request us to place your course on hold up to 5 times without administrative fee. (Please see Section 7. On Hold & Expired Bookings)
- Expired Courses: You will not pay administrative fee to re-open your course. BookProtect doesn’t cover lesson fee differences.
- Area: You can change your area up to 5 times without administrative fee. (Please see Section 4. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Changes)
- Vehicle Transmissions: You can change your area twice without administrative fee. (Please see Section 4. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Changes)
- Cancellation of Service: You will not pay administrative fee up to 30 days.
- Time Out: You have 6 months after booking the course to start your lessons.
- Conduct: Zero Tolerance Policy
10.1 Abuse and Harassment: We have a zero-tolerance policy toward any form of abuse, harassment, or violence (verbal or physical) directed at our staff or Instructors.
10.2 Termination: Any such behaviour will result in the immediate termination of your contract. In these instances, all fees paid are non-refundable.
- Data Protection
11.1 Use of Personal Data: We use your personal data to:
- Manage theory and practical test bookings.
- Arrange and allocate an approved driving instructor.
- Process payments for tuition and test fees.
- Complaints & Disputes
12.1 Lesson Feedback: If there is an issue with your lessons or Instructor, you must provide feedback/complaint. via Contact us, support@bookdrivinglesson.com or text or whatsapp message to +44 7426 794170 within 24 hours of the incident.
12.2 Formal Complaints: Our formal complaint procedure takes up to 10 working days to investigate and resolve.

- Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by English Law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

- The Details Form: You must complete the Details Form after payment. We cannot begin searching for your instructor or booking your tests until this is received.

- Fees & Refund Policy
- 14-Day Cooling Off: If you cancel within 14 days of your initial payment, a £50 admin fee is retained. After 14 days, the £100 initial payment is non-refundable.
- Eligibility: You must have a valid provisional license. If you book while ineligible and request a refund, a £75 admin fee applies.
- Changes: Changing your location (area) or vehicle transmission (Manual/Automatic) incurs a £75 administrative fee and may delay your course.
- Balance Payments: The remaining balance is due within 7 days of your initial payment.
- Conduct & Support
- Zero Tolerance: Any verbal or physical abuse toward staff or instructors will result in immediate contract termination without a refund.
- Reporting Issues: Any complaints regarding a lesson or instructor must be reported via the website or to support@bookdrivinglesson.com or text or whatsapp message to +44 7426 794170 within 24 hours.
- Complaints:Formal complaints should be sent to complaints@bookdrivinglesson.com We aim to resolve all issues within 10 working days.
